About
The Harvest Moon Dinner—Dance is a fundraiser hosted by the Friends of the Library. The funds we raise ensure the sustainability of vital programs that benefit our community. These programs include:
Free public access to high-speed internet at both the Palacios and Blessing libraries, empowering individuals with essential connectivity.
Continuation of our highly impactful summer reading programs, which foster a love for reading among children and promote academic engagement during the summer break.
Our Homework Assistance Program, which relies on the dedication of deserving high school students. Work/scholarship grants funded by this event sustain the program, providing academic support to students in need while empowering them with valuable work experience and financial assistance for their educational pursuits.
By supporting these initiatives, you directly contribute to our youth's educational development and success. Your ongoing support is immensely appreciated and has a far-reaching impact on our community.
